Kindhearted Cloverbuds!

What a wonderful first meeting! We enjoyed seeing a lot of our returning Cloverbuds and getting to meet some new faces ~

Remember our Pledge Challenge ~ If you are able to recite the pledge from memory at our next meeting or at any meeting this year, you will be rewarded with a prize ~ They are printed on the backs of your name tags.

Be prepared to share during Kind Moments.

On April 22 we will celebrate Earth Day by potting flowers to give to someone as our kind hearted act for April.

Ms. Rachel and I are so looking forward to getting to know each of you more this year!

KH4H Field Trip

Weather Permitting - We will meet at the east end of the bike trail (by the bridge) at 4:30 p.m.
on Tuesday, April 7. Please wear walking shoes and dress appropriately as it will get cooler over the course of our evening. Bring a small clipboard or something easy to write on and a pen/pencil. After we complete the 1.9 mile trail we will head to Cardinal's pizza to refuel and hold a very short business meeting. After dinner we will walk over to the North Lewisburg Municipal Building and stay for the first 30 minutes of their regular montly meeting to see first hand the parlimentary procedure in action. Parents please pick your 4Her up at 7:30 at the Municipal Building. If the weather doesn't cooperate we will met at Cardinal's at 6:00 p.m. and pick up will still be 7:30 ~ Please RSVP and let us know if you can make this event!

Playdough Recipe

1 c. flour
1/2 c. salt
2 tsp. cream of tartar (DO NOT OMIT)
1 c. water
1 tbsp. cooking oil

Mix ingredients in a saucepan. Cover over medium heat until it forms into a ball, stirring constantly. Food coloring may be added. Knead slightly on waxed paper. Let cool.
This playdough will not stick to carpet or clothes.

Cloverbuds will meet from 6-7 p.m. and KH4H Project Club will meet from 7-8 p.m. at the Allen Township Community Building~

We will participate in the opening fair parade on Monday evening!
Cloverbud Day at the fair will more than likely be Friday, July 31~

Cloverbud Day Camp:
August 11-18 @ the County Extension Office on Rt. 4 Time TBA ~ Wonderful Day Camp Open to all County Cloverbuds

Cloverbud Overnight Camp is usually held in August at Camp Clifton ~ Campers are dropped off on Sunday afternoon and get to experience camp life for 24 hours with pick on Monday afternoon ~ more info to come!
